What sets a Suncrete garage floor epoxy install apart.
Most garage floor epoxy failures trace back to the same handful of compromises. We don’t bend on these, even if it costs us a job.
Polyaspartic topcoat
UV-stable, scratch-resistant, no yellowing in direct South Florida sun. Cures fast enough to be drivable in 48 hours.
Diamond-grind every slab
CSP 2-3 profile, full crack chase, moisture-test, vacuum twice before primer. The prep is half the job.
Flake broadcast or solid
Decorative chip blend in 30+ colors, or a solid color with a non-slip topcoat. You pick the look, we lock in the install.
The longer answer on garage floor epoxy.
Polyaspartic-topcoat systems built for South Florida heat. Walk-on next day, drive-on in 48 hours. That’s the one-line version. The longer answer is that garage floor epoxy is one of sixteen coating systems we install across South Florida, and the only reason it ends up on your slab is because the walkthrough determined nothing else would last as long. Wrong-system installs fail at year 2 even with perfect prep. The most expensive floor anyone ever buys is the one that needs to come out and be redone in three years.
The full system runs from primer to topcoat in a specific order, and every layer has a reason. Primer bonds to the cement matrix. Basecoat creates the body and provides UV barrier. Decorative or aggregate layer creates the texture and visual character. Topcoat seals the system and provides the wear surface. Skip any layer and the floor’s lifespan drops in half. We don’t shortcut layers to compete on price.
Lifespan depends on prep quality, system selection, and use pattern, but with our standard install on a properly-prepped slab, you should expect 10-15+ years of service before any visible wear. Topcoat refresh extends life another 5+ years without disturbing the underlying system. We come back at 30 days for a free inspection, and we’re a small enough shop that we can’t afford to leave bad work in the field.
Common garage floor epoxy applications.
Most-requested project types where this system makes sense. We don’t push it into the wrong context, if your job doesn’t fit any of these, the walkthrough will tell us a different system is the right call.
Residential single-family
Most-common project type. Single-bay or multi-bay garages, occasionally interior basement or storage room floors. Standard 1-day prep, 1-day coating turnaround.
Commercial light-industrial
Small shop floors, retail back-of-house, single-tenant commercial space. We schedule around your operations, overnight prep, weekend coating, Monday open.
Multifamily + condo association
Single-balcony staging for high-rise condo work. HOA paperwork formatted for board review. Coordinated turnaround across multi-unit scopes.
Industrial + specialty
Warehouse, manufacturing, and back-of-house industrial floors. Forklift-rated builds. Chemical-resistant variants available for shops handling solvents or acids.

What people ask us most.
How long does a typical garage take?
Single-day prep, single-day coating, then 24 hours walk-on and 48 hours drive-on. Most 2-3 car garages are start-to-finish in 72 hours.
Will it survive Florida summers?
Yes. We only use polyaspartic topcoats (UV-stable). Acid-etched epoxy floors peel at the 18-month mark down here. Diamond-ground polyaspartic floors are still flat at year 10.
Can you coat a stained or oil-soaked floor?
We diamond-grind through the staining and prime with an oil-tolerant primer. If oil has penetrated more than a quarter-inch, we may recommend a thin self-leveler before coating.
What colors are available?
Solid: any common epoxy color including granite, charcoal, gray, sand, terracotta. Flake: 30+ pre-blended chip palettes. Metallic: copper, pearl, ocean, bronze. We bring sample panels to the walkthrough.
Does it crack?
The coating doesn’t crack. The slab underneath can move and telegraph cracks through, but we chase and fill every visible crack before coating. Hairlines remain stable. Major slab movement is rare.
