What sets a Suncrete non-slip epoxy floor install apart.
Most non-slip epoxy floor failures trace back to the same handful of compromises. We don’t bend on these, even if it costs us a job.
Fine quartz broadcast
Quartz aggregate broadcast into the topcoat creates microtexture. Grip stays even when the surface is soaked.
ADA + OSHA compliant
Coefficient-of-friction tested. Meets ADA wet-traction requirements for ramps, locker rooms, ADA-route flooring.
Still cleans easily
Despite the texture, the floor is sealed and cleans with normal mop methods. No scrubbing required.
The longer answer on non-slip epoxy floor.
Aggregate-broadcast epoxy floors for wet zones, kitchens, gyms, ramps, walkways. Code-compliant traction. That’s the one-line version. The longer answer is that non-slip epoxy floor is one of sixteen coating systems we install across South Florida, and the only reason it ends up on your slab is because the walkthrough determined nothing else would last as long. Wrong-system installs fail at year 2 even with perfect prep. The most expensive floor anyone ever buys is the one that needs to come out and be redone in three years.
The full system runs from primer to topcoat in a specific order, and every layer has a reason. Primer bonds to the cement matrix. Basecoat creates the body and provides UV barrier. Decorative or aggregate layer creates the texture and visual character. Topcoat seals the system and provides the wear surface. Skip any layer and the floor’s lifespan drops in half. We don’t shortcut layers to compete on price.
Lifespan depends on prep quality, system selection, and use pattern, but with our standard install on a properly-prepped slab, you should expect 10-15+ years of service before any visible wear. Topcoat refresh extends life another 5+ years without disturbing the underlying system. We come back at 30 days for a free inspection, and we’re a small enough shop that we can’t afford to leave bad work in the field.
Common non-slip epoxy floor applications.
Most-requested project types where this system makes sense. We don’t push it into the wrong context, if your job doesn’t fit any of these, the walkthrough will tell us a different system is the right call.

Sixteen total in our kit. The right system depends on the slab + use case, we won’t force-fit non-slip epoxy floor if a different system will outlast it.
What people ask us most.
How aggressive is the texture?
You can tune it, fine grit for low-impact retail wet zones, coarse for industrial wet ramps. Most installs use medium grit.
Does it hurt bare feet?
Fine-grit installs are comfortable underfoot. Coarse-grit is meant for shoes, not suitable for pool decks where people walk barefoot. We size grit to the use case.
Can you add non-slip to an existing floor?
Yes. We can recoat with a non-slip topcoat over a sound existing epoxy. Otherwise we redo from prep up.
